Subject: Industrial traffic calming

Helen Hollis - 4/6/2009 4:27:08 PM Are there any Industrial traffic calming methods? Although the humps and signs are great for residential, I am a safety rep. in a very large industrial facility with forklifts, cranes, and bicycles just to get around. To add a deviation to the ground is risky.
If anyone knows any methods out of the box....it would be appreciated.

We have small humps that have been installed in areas where you have fork lifts. We have larger humps/tables for your road ways which will assist in slowing down passenger vehicles and larger trucks. We have radar signs which are also used to slow down the semis and other vehicles.
